REMEMBER THE LOST.
REMEMBER THE INNOCENT.
IN WAR, WE ALL LOSE.

Today in 1944 D-Day occurred. The day where the western allies invaded Normandy and started the long drive to destroy a despotic ideology in the form of the Nazis. I was honoured to have met and known some of the men who took part in that historic event. But we should remember though that there are only losers in war. The men and women who are killed fighting, those who survive yet have lost limbs, or mind, or part of their humanity. We should especially remember the innocent. With war, there are no real ‘winners’. We all ’lose’.
