POWER HAS A LIFE,
BUT ULTIMATELY CORRUPTS,
IT DESTROYS ITSELF.

If history has anything to teach, it’s that power has a life of its own and will eventually be uncontrollable by those who seek and achieve it. Usually, it will also destroy the wielders because of others who want that power or the people that are oppressed.

Ancient Rome, Greece, Byzantines, Ottomans, British, Nazi’s are all exemplars in this lesson.
