Some friends eternal..

SOME FRIENDS ETERNAL,
MANY TIMES PAST MOMENTS SHARED,
LIFE FLAMES DWINDLED GONE.

Just heard that my old University Friend Carl Pickin has died at the early age of 54. Although we drifted apart after college we eventually linked up again a few years ago. It was gratifying to hear that he had and exciting and well travelled life (Japan, Canada, Turkey to name a few) and had met a wonderful woman. He will be missed.
