Don’t get me wrong, I do like the odd sunny day. But, if I am honest with myself, I have to say I prefer the many kinds of rain and storm. It’s more ‘passionate’, it has ‘presence’, and ‘sound’ - things that the boring day after day of sunshine just does not have - It has personality. I was listening to some edjit in the tourism industry waxing lyrical about “moving to cypress’ and its ‘so nice to have sunshine everyday’. I thought “you have no soul you shallow plonker”.
